Hello, Thinking about going to Disney the week of Feb 16th....I know this is presidents weekend. Are the crowds really that bad? How is the weather? This will be my grandson first visit...he will be 5 in Dec and thought this would be a good time to go

    Hi Lori!

I happen to really enjoy park touring in February.  Usually the weather is beautiful at that time of year.  I have experienced little rain, lots of sun and cooler temperatures than summer.  With regard to crowds, Presidents' Day Weekend does tend to be quite crowded, however.  If you do not have school to worry about missing, I might consider visiting the first or second weekend in February instead.  If that is not an option for you,  you can still have a nice time utilizing some simple touring strategies.  I would definitely recommend using the Disney FASTPASS Service, and plan to arrive when the parks open in the morning.
Let me know if I can assist you again.  I am happy to help.

I wish you and your grandson a truly magical vacation!
