Hello, My husband and two sons 6 & 2 are spending Christmas at Disney. We are visiting from Dec 20th - 27th 2014. I see there are a lot of activities for girls. Can you recommend some fun things to do for boys and does it requiring addition reserva

    Hi Julianne:

There are a number of ways that boys can participate in the magic at Disney World.  If your boys are anything like my sons (or me), they love pirates.  Make a reservation for your children to be transformed into pirates for the day at The Pirates League (make reservations).  You go into The Pirates League as a civilian and leave as a pirate with a new pirate name, a pirate book, a pirate oath, and some sweet new swashbuckling maneuvers.  You can also consider a haircut for your boys at Harmony Barber Shop.

I also highly recommend the Pirates and Pals Firework Voyage (additional reservation required), Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom (no reservation required), and Jedi Training Academy (sign up when you enter the Park).  While not necessarily specifically geared towards boys, my two boys, ages 8 and 6, love these experiences.

    Enjoy your vacation.
