Hello, My group includes my 3 girls (7,5,3). My 3 year old is small- and I suspect will still only be the size of an average two year old in Nov. If birth cert's aren't ck'd at the gate & she won't be able to use bigger rides-should I just say she is

Hi, Becky! What fun ages to bring your girls to WDW! They are going to feel like princesses in a magical land! My four children have visited WDW over the years at various ages, and believe me, I always want to save money where I can. However, your question is really going to be up to you and your conscience, and although I've never seen a Cast Member ask for a birth certificate, I have seen them question a child's age on occasion.

You see, some Cast Members have had previous experiences in other professions such as teaching. And if they're like this ballet teacher, I can usually tell the age of a child just by observing their mannerisms. Of course, you also don't want to get into a situation like my sister-in-law did at another Florida water park. The day after her child turned three she tried to get her in without paying when her (very articulate) child proclaimed to the lady at the gate that her 3-year-old birthday was the day before! Of course, my sister-in-law  had to sheepishly go back to the ticket window to purchase a ticket for her little tattler!

In addition, there are many attractions and much entertainment your small child can enjoy in the parks, and you can feel great about the investment you will make in purchasing a ticket for her. So, for this question and resulting decision, I have to quote Jiminy Cricket and say, "Always let your conscience be your guide!" Oh...and if you need me again..."Give a little whistle!"  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
