Hello- My family visits Disney World every year in May- June timeframe and this year we will be traveling with a 2.5 month old. Any helpful hints? She is formula fed. Thank you.

    Hi, Kristin!

Congratulations on the addition to your family!  Mickey Mouse will be excited to meet this new darling princess.

This is going to be a very different vacation from what you are used to!  Be ready to have lots of supplies with you, shorter days in the parks, and some of those long relaxing meals may turn into a quick hot dog at Casey's!  But it will all be worth it for those pictures of her first visit to the Magic Kingdom.

Let's start with what to bring. A "must" will be a comfortable stroller with a sunshade.  In a tote bag or backpack you will want to stock up with diapers, wipes, formula, change of clothes, bottles, and bottled water if you need that for the formula.

In each park, locate the Baby Care Center which will be perfect for changing diapers or for feedings.  I spent countless hours in these amazing Centers when my kids were little.  The Baby Care Centers will quickly become your favorite spot in the parks!

Let your resort know that you will need a pack-and-play.  Get it set-up as soon as you arrive so it is ready to go for nap time and bedtime.  At this age, there may not be much of a schedule yet, but try as much as possible to keep any routines that you have at home for feedings and sleep.

During your vacation, take it slow, take lots of pictures, and remember to enjoy this magical time!  You may not be zooming through space on Space Mountain this trip, but you will be getting some priceless memories with your little princess.  Have a wonderful time!
