Hello, My family and I will be visiting WDW in January. We have the Quick Service Dining Plan reserved. Just wondering, in the event that we do not use all of our meal credits, can we trade out the meals for snacks for trip home? Thank you!

Wahoo!  Your magical Disney vacation is this month and I am so excited for you! Disney Dining Plans are a fantastic way to make life easy while visiting Mickey, Minnie and their friends. With a dining plan you leave all the cooking and cleaning at home and let Disney pamper you. Dining plans are set up to give you the greatest freedom to eat.  We typically purchase a standard Dining Plan which allow us one table service credit, one quick-service credit and a snack credit for each person in our group. We use the snack for breakfast and the other two meals for lunch and dinner. This works out great for us!

With your 2015 Quick-Service Dining Plan, you will enjoy two quick service meal credits, one snack credit and a Rapid Fill Resort refillable mug per person (over the age of three) per day of stay in a Disney Resort. We have a collection of these fun character covered mugs. I checked and the 2015 Disney Quick-Service Dining plan brochure states that credits for meals are for meals and snacks for snacks. Last year at the Art of Animation, we were left with four quick-service meals.  We went to trade them in for snacks and were told the credits were for meals. We ended up finding boxed lunches in the refrigerated cases.  Delicious, I must say! If this happens to you I would ask a Cast Member if they would allow it.  You never know what wishes may come true at Disney.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
