Hello! My family will be traveling to Disney in September 2016 for a "Family-moon" my question is, when you make reservations with a Disney resort and tickets do you receive Magic bands as a part of the package or do you have to purchase them

Hi, Kelsea, and congratulations to you! Thank you for stopping by with your question. A trip for the whole family to Walt Disney World Resort is a wonderful way to celebrate your new life together.

To me, MagicBands are the coolest aspect of MyMagic+. These colorful devices unlock a whole new world of theme park planning. With one flick of your wrist, you can be instantly connected to your My Disney Experience account, which houses all of your Advance Dining Reservations, FastPass+ selections and Memory Maker.

As Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will receive complimentary MagicBands. You can even customize your MagicBands with a variety of colors before they are sent to you. Since you are traveling with family members, you will love that the inside of each MagicBand can be customized with names. My daughters usually wind up wanting the same color, so I appreciate that we can add their names to tell them apart.

I hope you have a wonderful family-moon, Kelsea! Sending you best wishes for a long and happy life together <3
