Hello I'm a young widow who is travelling to WDW next week with my 4 year old son who has autism and developmental impairment as well as my newly turned 2 year old. I am looking to book in park assistance and wonder how I can do this? Stressed! Thanks

    Hi Lisa,

We are here to help you plan a magical Disney vacation. I just know that your family will fall in LOVE with the Walt Disney World Resort. I'll never forget the first time my youngest – with developmental delays – saw Cinderella Castle for the very first time. This cherished memory still brings tears of joy to my eyes!

The highly trained care providers will lend a helping hand with In-Park Assistance, accompanying you and your children to the parks. Pricing will be dependent on the number of children and the time of day. If you wish to have the same care worker escort your family to the theme parks for the duration of the trip, be sure to note this request when making the reservation. Contact Kid's Nite Out by calling (407) 828-0920 between 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

On a separate but related topic, please stop by Guest Relations to get the Disability Access Service Card (DAS) for your 4 year old. DAS are issued to Guests with a wide variety of special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. For an in-depth explanation about how it might help your family, please read the Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card Fact Sheet. Also keep in mind you may use the DAS in conjunction with FastPass+ too.
