Hello, If one guest is not on our hotel reservation but still part of our group going to the Disney parks each day, will she be able to join us for Extra Magic Hours? Thanks!

    Hi Denise,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Because the ability to participate in Extra Magic Hours is reserved for Guests staying at participating Walt Disney World Resort hotels, I’m afraid that your friend will not be able to join you for Extra Magic Hours unless she is also staying in a participating hotel. This rule is usually enforced by Cast Members scanning MagicBands at a given attraction or dining location’s entrance, in order to make sure that a Guest has the proper entitlements to be able to enjoy those precious extra hours in the Disney Parks.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you the answer you were looking for. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your upcoming visit.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
