Hello,I am taking my 2 year old daughter for her 3rd birthday the week of October 24th. I'm wondering about the weather. If it will be warm enough to swim we were going to stay 5 days? Also suggestions on where to stay if relaxing by the pool is an option?

    Hi Mindy:

In my experience, although weather changes, I find that the weather late October can get crisp at times, but it's usually not too cold to swim, and Disney Resort and Waterpark pools are heated all year long.  If you are choosing a Resort and the pool is the most important factor, then either the Yacht or Beach Club is your best bet by far. Few people will disagree that Stormalong Bay (shared by the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts) is the best pool on property with a major water slide, several sections, and a lazy river. If you want a Resort on the monorail, I would look at the Polynesian, which also features a great pool. Another great Resort with an awesome pool is Animal Kingdom Lodge's Kidani Village, which features Samawati Springs, a 4,700-square-foot, zero-depth entry pool with a 128-foot long slide.

    Enjoy your vacation.
