Hello, I am planning early for a first time trip w/ friends to WDW in March 2011 for my 25th birthday. I want to celebrate with a bang, but since I just got out of college dont have lots of money to spend. Is having a limo pick us up from airport worth it

Hi, Melinda!  A limousine is certainly a very rock star way to get from the airport to the Walt Disney World resort area, and you may certainly get at least a few head turners, wondering if Cinderella traded in her carriage for a sleek, stretch limo.

In my opinion, however, there's not really any need for a limousine, and I actually enjoy the ride from the airport to the resort via Disney's Magical Express.  Each time I have used this complimentary service, they have shown a video of some of the things you may experience when you get to Walt Disney World, and it is always such a thrill for me to see the reactions of the other passengers.  You can't help but get caught up in the excitement of the children and grown ups alike, as they react with delight at the video.

You are usually at your resort about an hour from the time you leave the airport on Magical Express.  If you are arriving prior to 10 o'clock at night, they will collect your luggage for you, and deliver it to your hotel room after you check in.

While the limo is very cool, you can enjoy a couple of nice meals, add a backstage tour, or treat yourself to a spa treatment with the money you would save by not using the limo.  I think I'd save the cash.

    Happy planning!
