Hello! I have a dvc reservation for a two bed lock off at AKL, my question is: Me and my husband want to buy the dining plan (we are in the one bed apartment of the lock off) and my parents don't (they are in the studio bit). Is this possible?

    Jambo Claire!

I am so happy to hEAR you have an upcoming Disney Vacation Club reservation for a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House or Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani. The 2-Bedroom Villas at each of these Disney Vacation Club Resorts are fantastic! Luxurious, spacious, and truly like a home-away-from-home, while at the same time evoking a feeling like you have been transported to an exotic African safari lodge. You and your husband and your parents are found to have a wonderful time here!

Claire, I definitely don't blame you for wanting to add the Disney Dining Plan to your Disney Vacation Club reservation. With so many fantastic restaurants and signature dining experiences at Walt Disney World, including several terrific restaurants at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House and Kidani, including Jiko - The Cooking Place, Boma - Flavors of Africa and Sanaa, you will certainly have no problem putting those dining credits to good use! Unfortunately though, in order to add the Disney Dining Plan to your Disney Vacation Club reservation, all registered guests must purchase the same dining plan.

In the event the Disney Dining Plan isn't possible this trip, you may want to consider purchasing Tables in Wonderland, which provides a 20% discount on food and beverages (including alcohol) at select dining locations throughout Walt Disney World. Membership is valid for one yEAR, so it may even provide additional savings on another trip, and it includes complimentary valet parking at Disney Resort hotels.

Wishing you a Magical upcoming Disney vacation!
