Hello, For my daughters birthday we are having people join us for a few days. My Dad’s in the reservation but my friends staying for a small portion of our ten day birthday trip. Can disney link her magicband to our room so she can get in and out?

Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alexandra! It’s easy to add a guest to your room and allow them Walt Disney World Resort hotel key and room charging privileges when they are your hotel room guest!

Provided that the room has occupancy left (example, 4 people in a room that allows 5 guests) you can add your friend to the reservation. You’ll need to have your reservation number handy and call (407) 939-1936. There, a Cast Member can add her to your reservation for a night or two. You’ll have to pay the extra guest fee for those nights (typically a small charge) but this will enable her to link up to My Disney Experience, have her MagicBand act as a room key and give her access to early FastPass+ reservations. Otherwise, she will only be able to visit during the day as a guest, as you don’t want to max out the fire code if the room is already full.

If there are any other plans that I can help with, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
