Hello Do I need to purchases park tickets for my 2 year old?

Hi Sharon. We are delighted you have visited the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you so much for your question and please let us know what other information we can provide as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

There are a variety of ticket options available to Walt Disney World Resort Guests and I have great news - children under the age of 3 do not require a ticket!

As you are planning your vacation, be sure to check out the Walt Disney World Resort website for attractions and entertainment geared toward preschoolers. For each attraction, you will not only find a great description but also height requirements and other great information.

When my kiddos were around 2, they really enjoyed the Character Dining experiences. Chef Mickey's continues to be a favorite! Chef Mickey's is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort. The buffet style meal is served at breakfast, brunch and dinner. As Guests dine, Disney Characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Goofy visit each family at their table for photos and autographs. Chef Mickey's is very popular so if you plan to dine there, reservations are recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance. We typically enjoy one meal there during each of our vacations but I have friends that love it so much they visited Chef Mickey's 4 times during one of their recent vacations.

Enjoy your vacation and thanks again for your question! Have a magical day!
