What are the height restrictions for the rides in the various theme parks?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Steven! There are so many attractions in every one of Disney's magical parks, so you'll have tons to experience when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort. There are certain height restrictions for some of the attractions, however there are so many that are perfect for everyone in the family.

Disney put together a Height Chart so that guests can check out the specifics for each attraction to help plan their park days. Take a look at that as you plan which FastPass Plus reservations you'd like to make for your family. A few of the newer attractions aren't listed on there, but if you view the specific attraction on the Walt Disney World website, you'll get details for that one in particular as you plan.

Perhaps you have a tall child who is a dare devil, like my son, and you'll find that he or she can join you on even the most thrilling rides at a young age. I remember when my son was three years old. He and I took a mother-son trip to Disney. He was just tall enough for the Twighlight Zone Tower of Terror - a ride I am not a fan of, since I don't like drops - and he insisted that he just had to ride it. So, what was I to do? Normally, I would send him on it with my husband, but being that it was just the two of us, I didn't want to tell him he couldn't ride the one attraction he really wanted to experience. I was so wishing the height restrictions were a bit tighter on that one that day! Everyone in line was talking with him about how brave he was to ride, but they probably didn't notice his mom shaking in her boots next to him. Lets just say that he loved it but from then on, his dad took him on the ride all the other visits we've done.

Have fun planning your exciting trip, Steven!
