    Kathleen from MI Asked

What are the height requirements for the rides at WDW?

    Hi Kathleen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for sending us this great question!

Height requirements vary at each attraction depending on a variety of factors. To find out about a specific ride, please visit the Walt Disney World Resort Attractions page. Afterward, narrow your search by filtering for attraction thrill levels, interests, age interest, height and accessibility & advisories. Alternatively use the My Disney Experience Mobile app to find out about ride wait times, restrictions and any advisories. Rides will have any of the following height requirements:

    • 32in (82cm) or taller
    • 35in (89cm) or taller
    • 38in (97cm) or taller
    • 40in (102cm) or taller
    • 42in (107cm) or taller
    • 44in (113cm) or taller
    • 48in (122cm) or shorter
    • 48in (122cm) or taller
    • 60in (162cm) or shorter
    • Any Height

Once on-property, you may also consult the signage posted at attractions—which includes height requirements, health and safety advisories, and accessibility guidelines.

    Did you Know?
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, and have also purchased tickets in advance, you can start making FastPass+ selections 60 days prior to your check-in date (for the entire length of your vacation). If you are staying off-property, you will be able to secure those FastPass+ choices 30 days in advance of each theme park visit day (one-day-at-a-time).

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
