Heather, we are planning a trip with our 3 year old son to WDW in May. I am torn as to what to do regarding a stroller. I have both a light-weight umbrella stroller and a "turbo" stroller which is bulkier but more comfortable. Which is better?

I hate to say it, but I'd take the bigger stroller.  I know the umbrella is soooo much easier to carry along, but the bigger one will be better for the duration of your trip.  The storage basket underneath will be great for your backpack or diaper bag, souvenirs, cups, and all the miscellaneous 'stuff' one collects while in the parks.  Your son will also appreciate the more comfortable reclining seat and the sun canopy.

The amount of walking one does on a Disney vacation is really incredible, and your son is likely to be wiped out and longing for a nap in his stroller at some point, so I'd take the one that will best accommodate that.  He will be happier and your whole family will have a better vacation if your son is not tired and cranky!

My older daughters no longer nap at home, but in Disney they often do because of the increase in activity and the heat.  Having a comfy stroller where they can rest makes it much easier for us than trekking back to the resort mid-day.  It's also a great opportunity for you and your husband to take turns riding the 'big kid' rides that your son can't.

    Have a great trip!
