Hello Heather, I know they have a wagon ride at Fort wilderness during the Halloween season. Does it take u around to see the different decorations throughout the campground? If so what is the cost?Which day do u think is better for MNSSHP Oct23 or 25th?

    Michelle,

In years past there was a haunted wagon ride in the style of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, with the Headless Horseman surprising guests along the way. However, I am told that this particular event will unfortunately not be taking place this year.

It is possible that another wagon ride will take place, which would just be a hayride around the property, but I cannot say that for certain at this point.

As for the Halloween party, I would probably go on the 23rd. It's been my experience that Tuesdays are less crowded than Thursdays, though that is very unscientific observation. However, days closer to Halloween are always more crowded, so I would go as far from the 31st as possible.

    Have a great vacation!
