I heard that for 2018 vaction packages we recieve all the travel documents (tickets, vouchers, ect) at the hotels now when we check in. Is that true? I paid my vacation off in feb and my trip is the 1st weekend in april and we havent gotten our documents.

Hello, Darcy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!

I am so excited that you will be exploring all the joy and wonder of the Disneyland Resort next week! You heard correctly - travel documents for vacation packages are no longer mailed and can be picked up at your hotel upon check-in. This is a pretty recent change. If you included transportation from the airport in your package, then you will receive those travel vouchers in the mail ahead of time.

When you receive your tickets, I suggest scanning them into your Disneyland app. Be sure to add a name to each ticket as you link them to your account so you know which ticket belongs to each person. This will not only keep your tickets safe should the physical cards get lost, but you can also use the digital ticket in the app to gain entry into the parks if you don't feel like taking out the physical tickets each time. Further, if you plan to purchase Disney MaxPass, then scanning your tickets into the app will be the first step.

The app will also be your best tool for navigating the parks, looking up attraction wait times, FASTPASS return times currently being distributed, and so much more. You can even adjust your settings to receive alerts when you have a dining reservation or a FASTPASS return time coming up.

I hope this information is helpful. Have a fabulous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
