I heard that there's a lot of fun things for families to do at Fort Wilderness Lodge. Can you tell me about some of them?

The Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground has the most recreational activities than any other Walt Disney World Resort!

You can spend your entire vacation just at the resort! The campfire program is available for all resort guests and has no admission fee. It usually begins around dark, which is 7:00 during fall/winter. You can participate in a sing-a-long and marshmallow roast. You can bring your own marshmallows or buy them at the Chuck Wagon. You can also buy pizza, hot dogs, candy and nachos to have dinner around the campfire. At this time Chip and Dale will make an appearance and spend about 40 minutes hanging with the guests.

There are also two dinner shows at Fort Wilderness, including the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Both offer all-you-care-to-eat options, along with fun entertainment. The Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is the most popular and long-running of all of the shows at Disney. You can enjoy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, ribs, beans and strawberry shortcake. Yum! There are three shows nightly at 5, 7:15 and 9:30.

There are also pools, including the main pool near Meadow Trading Post and smaller pool by the cabins. There are horseback riding trail rides, tennis, archery, specialty cruises, pony rides, wagon rides, bicycle rentals, fishing, volleyball, basketball, two arcades, watercraft rentals, parasailing, swamp trail, exercise trail and carriage rides!

I hope you have a magical vacation!
