I've heard that the "snack" vouchers can be used for a light breakfast. Can you tell me what options are available and what you recommend please?

    Hi Lori,

I think a great way to get the most value from the standard Disney Dining Plan is to use your snack credits for breakfast, counter service for lunch, and table service credits for dinner.  In general, a snack credit can be used for an item under $4.  There are a number of options that can absolutely qualify as a light (or not so light) breakfast, including bagels, muffins, danishes, fruit and breakfast rolls to name a few.  At the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom, for example, you can get a huge cinnamon roll for breakfast as a "snack."  I'd have a hard time finishing one myself!

For my family, breakfast tends to be the least expensive meal of the day, so if you find that your snack credits don't satisfy everyone's appetites, you can always supplement with items you pay for with cash.  Each of the resort gift shops sells basic sundries and groceries, including milk, cereal, bread, etc. that can make a quick, inexpensive breakfast.

    Have a great trip!
