I have heard from several people that you are allowed to leave the park in the afternoon then come back in the evening. Is this true?

Hi, Jennifer! It's true! There are many reasons that Guests choose to do this (children that need naps, Guests who want to swim in the heat of the day, etc...), and it is perfectly acceptable. Even if you do not have the Park Hopper option on your tickets, you can still leave a park and return to the same park later the same day.  In fact, you can leave and re-enter the park you have chosen for that day as many times as needed. Your ticket is valid for the park you entered in the morning for the whole day. If you have the Park Hopper option you can switch from one park in the morning to another when you return. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
