I have heard that if you send a fan letter to a character they will send you an autographed postcard back. Is this true? If so, can it be sent to a Canadian address?

Hi Paul, and greetings from a fellow Canuck. I would be so pleased to help you out with your question.

Paul, I spoke with a Cast Member on your behalf who confirmed that currently our favourite Disney characters spend so much time meeting guests in person and appearing at Walt Disney World that unfortunately they no longer have the ability to send autographed postcards to guests back home. Hopefully, though, you have an upcoming trip on the horizon so that you will soon be able to meet your favourite characters at Walt Disney World and get their autographs in person. Nothing beats that!

My best tip for getting autographs is to come equipped with a jumbo size pen, which are best suited for the characters to use. This will allow them to provide their very best penmanship.

Also, Walt Disney World Character Dining experiences are a terrific, relaxing, and delicious way to obtain autographs. Your favorite characters will come to your table for meet and greets, photo opportunities, and autograph signing. It simply doesn't get better than that! Chef Mickey's is my personal favourite (because who can resist a Mouse in a chef's hat?) and for princess greetings, the elegance of dining high atop the Castle at Cinderella's Royal Table gets a royal recommendation from me!

Paul, as a final thought, if you are really wanting a particular autograph before your next trip, perhaps a friend or neighbour who has an upcoming trip may be able to meet with your favourite character and bring you home a special touch of pixie dust!

Good luck, and all the best!
