I had heard a rumor that the Pizzafari Family style dining is no long a part of the dining plan. Can you please let me know if that is true. Thank you in advance.

    Hi Tami,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Ready to Fall into Magic at Walt Disney World Resort? Just a few months away!

There are so many dining options throughout the Resort, and it's one of the reasons my family loves the Dining Plans. Only problem is that for every vacation, we have lengthy planning discussions as to what restaurants to visit. Pizzafari on Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of our go to options for lunch, not only to enjoy a freshly cooked pizza but also for a refreshing Caesar salad.

Last year, a new option was introduced during the evening hours: Pizzafari Family-Style Dining. On a reserved section of the restaurant, and for a fixed price, you get an appetizer and beverage, and then the Pizzafari guides will bring you several options for you to enjoy including pizza and pasta. And you even get dessert! You can make advanced dining reservations, and Dining Plans are accepted, but at this time, this option requires one Table-Service credit. Note that counter service is still available at Pizzafari, and you can still use one Quick-Service credit.

One last tip: be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. One of the latest enhancements is the ability to do Mobile Order at most Quick-Service restaurants. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
