I've heard you can ride on a special train that Disney himself used to ride on but it's only once a day. How do I go about doing this?

    Hi there Nicolle,

Thanks for reaching out on the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I hope you are having a lovely day.

The Disneyland Railroad car you are referring to (one of the cabooses) is the Lilly Belle Railroad Car. She is not available for visits everyday, but there is always a possibility of some Disney magic at the Happiest Place on Earth. My family has been lucky enough to experience this historical treat. It was quite amazing to see and experience the timeless elegance of this special railroad car.

Not all Guests will have the pleasure of riding in the Lilly Belle Railroad Car; however, I do suggest inquiring at the Disneyland Train Station early in the morning during your vacation. I think it really depends on timing, a touch of Fairy Godmother’s magic wand and a sprinkling of Pixie Dust.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all updates regarding the Disneyland Resort.

I hope I added some magic to your day and answered your question. Please write me back if you have any more questions before your next trip to The Happiest Place on Earth.

    Wishing you some Disney magic!
