I have heard that if you take a picture of your child with a character it will cost you $15 even if you use your own camera. Is this true? Thank you in advance.

    Hi Jessica,

Characters happily sign autographs and pose for pictures for absolutely no charge at meet and greets throughout the parks. Disney's PhotoPass photographers will even take a picture for you and your favorite princess or mouse with your camera or phone for free. The PhotoPass photographer will snap a pic or two with his professional camera and skill and hand you a PhotoPass card, also at no cost. The PhotoPass card will allow you to view the pictures online where you have the option to buy a digital download or printed picture if you choose. No one will even be aware if you look at the pictures or not, so there is absolutely no pressure to buy.

At character meals, you may take pictures of Minnie, Winnie-the-Pooh, or any other character who visits your table for no additional charge. Typically before your party is seated, you have the opportunity to pose with a character for a group shot. During the meal, you will be offered the chance to purchase this photo package, but buying the pictures is also totally optional.

Mickey is always happy to say cheese, so snap away!
