Hi, I heard that if you are off site when visiting WDW you do not get a complimentary armband. Can armbands be purchased even if we don't stay at a resort?

    Hello, Valincia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for bringing us this great question about MagicBands. MagicBands make a day in the theme parks so much more convenient, and I'm happy to report that off-site Guests can certainly purchase MagicBands!

You can purchase MagicBands ahead of your trip via the Shop Disney Parks app or by visiting the Disney Store online. You can also purchase MagicBands at select retail locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort. As a Guest staying off-site, you will be able to use your MagicBand to enter the theme parks and water parks (with valid admission), check-in at FastPass+ attractions and connect Disney PhotoPass photos to your account. You will love the touch-and-go convenience!

I hope this helps with your planning, Valincia! Please stop back and let us know if you have any additional questions about your upcoming visit. Wishing you many magical memories!
