I heard that with the new date-based tickets, you can book your FP+ 60 start of your first ticket date, not from the start of your resort reservation. I am checking in a day earlier than my ticket date, when can I book my FPs? (Check in 11/16, tix 11/17)

Hi, Jill! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us! Walt Disney World Resort did move to a date-based ticketing system last year, which sets the ticket's price based on the days you plan to use them. I just helped a friend plan her upcoming trip and I showed her on the interactive ticketing calendar how moving her tickets' first day of use by a couple of days could allow her to save a good bit of money. That is always welcome news because you know what that means - more available funds for Dole Whip Floats! Woohoo!

All guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are able to begin making their FastPass+ selections up to 60 days in advance of their check-in date, regardless of the use dates of their Disney Theme Park Tickets. However, note that since you do have your tickets set to begin on November 17, the FastPass+ system will not allow you to make selections for November 16, should you later decide to visit a park that day. Given the dates you mentioned, your 60-day FastPass+ window should open on September 17, which is 60 days in advance of November 16. Mark that date on your calendar! The system should allow you to book FastPass+ for the entire length of your Disney Resort Hotel stay at that time, within the confines of your tickets' valid use dates.

I hope this information helps you FastPass+ your way to a magical Disney day! Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
