I heard that when there are 2 lines at some rides one is shorter, would you know if true and if so which lines at what rides I also want to get in line and see the inside of the Tower of Terror but not get in the elevator is it possible? Love your panel!

Hi, Lilia!  There are multiple lines going on at the different Walt Disney World attractions, and while I'm not sure which line configuration you are referring to, I'll try and describe them all.

All of the rides and attractions have a stand-by line.  This is just a regular line, everyone waits until it's their turn.  For many rides, the stand-by line splits into two, just to keep things moving.  They say the secret is always choose the left line, as most people choose the right, and the left moves more quickly.  This has not always been my experience, but many people swear by this shorter wait tactic.

Some of the more popular rides have Single Rider Lines.  These lines are exactly as their name implies - if you will ride by yourself, you can use this line, and they use the single riders to fill in where needed.  For example, a ride may seat three across, and they have a party of two - they will pull someone from the single rider line to fill the remaining seat and not split up another party.  These lines tend to be much shorter than stand-by lines, but you will not be seated with someone you know.

Then you have the Fast Pass lines.  Some of the most popular rides and attractions have Fast Pass entrances.  To ride a ride using a Fast Pass entrance, you must get a Fast Pass.  You obtain a Fast Pass by inserting your theme park pass into a machine, and a Fast Pass will be distributed to you with a one hour time frame on it during which you will return to ride the ride.  You can go off and do some other things, then when you come back at your appointed time, you just show your Fast Pass, and you get into a much shorter line that moves fairly quickly.

As for Tower of Terror, there is an exit for guests who change their mind at the last minute to use.  Don't worry!  No need to ride the elevator unless you really want to!
