Mom With Kids After Run

I have heard about fun runs hosted by certain resorts at Disney World. Do you know if they are still held and which resorts host them?

Robin, Walt Disney World has become quite the runner's paradise over the past several yEARs. From the extremely popular runDisney races to the New Balance running trails found at most Walt Disney World Resorts, there's no reason to take a vacation from exercising while on vacation. Now, popping up all over property, are resort themed fun runs, perfect for the whole family, and each participant takes home a little bit of Disney swag- how great is that?!

The hardest thing about the Fun Runs is finding out about them- the best way is by asking at the Front Desk or looking at your resort's activity calendar. Luckily, you don't have to be a Guest at the resort to participate, and advance registration is not necessary.

Here's a list of the current ones:

All-Stars and Icons Fun Run at All-Star Movies (Every other Tuesday 8 AM)
The Southernmost Point 3K at Old Key West (Wednesdays 7:30 AM)
Derby Dash at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (Thursdays 8 AM)
The Regatta Run at Disney's Yacht/Beach Club (Thursdays 8 AM)
Seaside Sprint Fun Run at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort (Fridays 8 AM)
    Fort Wilderness (seasonal options)
The Pineapple Dash at the Disney's Polynesian Village Resort (held on the Fourth of July, and runners get a Dole Whip)

And my favorite Fun Run of all is The Beignet Dash at Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter (Sundays 8 AM). I'd run anytime and anywhere for free beignets!

So get ready, get set, and GO have fun during your next Walt Disney World vacation, Robin!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
