    Michelle from TN Asked

I heard there are family bathrooms/nursing stations in each of the parks and I was wondering if it would be frowned upon to let my 5 year old who has issues doing some of her business in most public bathrooms in hopes it's less scary for her. Thanks!

    Dear Michelle,

Thanks so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about using the family restrooms around the Walt Disney World Resort.

I totally understand what you're asking because my daughter was a bit afraid of public bathrooms for a long time, including a fear of those super loud hand dryers.

You and your daughter are more than welcome to use the family restrooms around the parks, and you can easily search for them looking for "companion restrooms." That will give you a nice secure door to close so that she can feel more relaxed and at home.

    Hope that helps!
