    Jenny from MN Asked

I've heard that Expedition Everest uses the magic band tech to display personalized messages in the queue. Where does this happen and are there other attractions that have personalized surprises?

    Hi, Jenny!
You're right! There are some magical posters in the Expedition Everest queue! It's something my family and I tracks each time we ride the attraction. (And we ride it a lot.)

You can find the posters in the final room before you go outside to the roller coaster. There are electronic posters on both ends of the room. MyMagic+ technology randomly snags the names and sometime hometowns of MagicBand wearers. Some of the other spots I've seen it work is in the FastPass/Single Rider entrance into Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, as the hitchhiking ghosts hop onboard with you on the Haunted Mansion and at the end of It's A Small World. I'm sure there are other spots, but those are the ones I'm aware of.

MyMagic+ is also the reason you can snag a special video from the PhotoPass Service after you ride the Tower of Terror and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.

There are little bits of unexpected magic everywhere you go at Walt Disney World Resort. Your MagicBand can help create extra ones! It's a lot of fun.

Good luck finding all your little customized moments during your visit! Let me know if I can help you with any additional questions.

Meet the Panelist: Jen, Missouri

I’m a mom, wife and goldendoodle dog owner who is not afraid to ride a fast roller coaster again and again. I love to travel - which is good since I telework with a job in Washington, DC. I’ve visited Disneyland and Walt Disney World multiple times and it’s fed into my belief that you’re never too old to have fun. I run when I can and recently earned my runDisney Coast to Coast medal! I also love photography and founded an online special needs community. Learn More About Jen
