Tweens at the parks

I have heard that children with autism and sensory challenges can get a special link to their magic band that allows for essentially what a fast pass can offer. Is this true if so where can you go to see about this accommodation?

    Hi Matthias,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

First, I suggest that you review the Services for Guests with Disabilities. It sounds as if you have heard about the Disability Access Service. Guests who cannot tolerate the standard line queue for attractions can use this service to request return times for rides. When we have used this service in the past, we have registered my husband for it as we arrived at our first park. Once he was registered, a cast member connected the girls and me to his Disability Access Service using our MagicBands so that we could ride with him.

Once registered, this is how it works - either of you can approach a cast member at the entrance to a ride or attraction, explain that you have the Disability Access Service and request a return time for the ride. When you return, however, the person with the Disability Access Service has to scan in for the attraction first. The great news is that you can use this service in addition to Fast Pass+.

Matthias, just remember to register for this service on the first day you visit a theme park. Simply go to Guest Relations and make the request. This service has been fantastic for my family and cast members have been incredibly helpful on our visits!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
