I’ve heard you can now carry more than 1 FASTP at a time at Disney/CA as long as two hours have passed since picking up the first one. Is this correct? Is MAXP just an option to get FP without going to the kiosk? Still potential 6 hour wait for FP return?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jason!

I am so glad you asked about Disney MaxPass as it has quickly become one of my favorite topics to discuss because I love it so much! When you add Disney MaxPass to your ticket, you are able to make FASTPASS selections on the Disneyland app from anywhere in the parks. Further, if you have a Park Hopper ticket, you can select a FASTPASS for an attraction in Disneyland Park while you are in Disney California Adventure Park and vice versa. With MaxPass, you no longer have to visit a FASTPASS distribution kiosk so you are saving yourself plenty of time and steps.

You can make FASTPASS selections one at a time once you enter the parks. In my experience, a lot of attractions had return times that were immediate or within 15-30 minutes. Some of the most popular attractions had return times a little further in the future, but I was very pleased with how quickly I could ride an attraction after selecting a FASTPASS. Once you make a selection, you will notice a time will be displayed when you can obtain your next FASTPASS. You can make another selection either once you have redeemed your current FASTPASS or once the time to select another has passed. Depending on when you decide to enter a FASTPASS queue and what time you are able to select your next FASTPASS, it is technically possible to have two FASTPASSES at once. However, you would only have multiple FASTPASSES for a short window of time.

Definitely try Disney MaxPass out on your next visit and I bet you will love it as much as I do. See ya real soon!
