We'll be heading to WDW in September when my boys are 2 and 10 months. Can my 10 month old ride most of the rides designed for little ones with me and my 2 year old? Will he need to sit on my lap?

    Hi Marcie,

You are going to have a truly unforgettable Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your boys. I am so excited for you.

Yes, most attractions that will be appropriate for your 2-year old will also welcome your younger son. The ride vehicle of Astro Orbiter is the only that comes to mind that might be just a little too narrow to accomodate an adult and two small children, but it might! Other than that, the three of you should be free to enjoy many of the wonderful attractions without a height requirement.

Check out the Walt Disney World Resort website for more tips for traveling with small children. One of my favorite things to share with other mothers of the smallest Guests, is that each theme park has a clean, climate controlled, welcoming Baby Care Centers designed just for you! This is a fantastic escape from the excitement of the theme parks exactly when you want it most. It's perfect for feedings or changing, as well as just a calming moment if that is what is needed. Check out the attached video for a glimpse into this oasis for Parents and little ones.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions, Marcie. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
