Heading to WDW Jan.3-12. Taking boys 8 & 6 to Pirate Adventure at GF on Jan. 10. Any ideas for what the parents can do in the 2 hours that the boys are out "pirating"? The cruise sails from 9:30 to 11:30am. GF is not where we are lodging. Tha

Our sons have taken the Grand Floridian pirate cruise several times and had so much fun!!  and I'll admit so did we with our couple of hours to ourselves.  We enjoyed exploring the resort itself and visiting the shops within the resort and then we grabbed a casual late breakfast/early lunch from Gasparillas and ate by the marina.  We've also just enjoyed a very long relaxing breakfast at the Grand Floridian cafe and then sat in the lobby to talk; it a fun place to people-watch.  You could always go sit along the beach of the Seven Seas Lagoon for a little Mom/Dad time that is quite romantic.

It was soooo relaxing and a wonderful break from the constant go-go-go of the rest of the trip. Just make sure to be there at the marina as the children return in all their pirate gear and treasure in hand!
