heading to wdw in jan 2015 with my 2 and a half year old. we will have 3 days at the parks and I'm unsure how we should use our time. which parks besides mk will be good for her and should we plan on 2 days at mk?

    Hi Jeanette!
I'm so excited you are planning on making magical memories with your little princess. I will never forget visiting the Disney parks with my daughter when she was almost 3 years-old. Everything was so exciting and she literally ran from one attraction or character meeting to the next. I loved watching her soak in all the wonder and magic that Walt Disney World had to offer. I hope you're able to experience the same feelings with your little one.

Magic Kingdom is my favorite park to visit with my preschoolers. Classic characters, and beloved attractions will keep your family wrapped in excitement all day long. I would highly recommend taking 2 days to visit the parks, as you never know when your little girl may get tired or need a nap.  Don't rush through the parks in order to see it all, take your time and soak in all sights, sounds, and tastes Magic Kingdom has to offer.  In 2 days you will surely see everything you and your daughter have your hearts set on.

My preschoolers second favorite Disney theme park is Disney's Animal Kingdom park. They love discovering all the animals on the exploration trails, and sit in awe at the amazing Broadway-style stage shows. Kilimanjaro Safaris is an attraction we usually experience 2 or 3 times during the day. My children love the fun off road vehicle ride, and they try to find new animals on each expedition.  Another favorite at this park is The Boneyard, an open-air play area that allows my children to climb, slide, and even dig up dinosaur bones. I have a hard time getting them to leave this fun play area, they could stay for hours exploring and running off energy.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel today Jeanette! If you think of anything else we can help you with before you depart on your Walt Disney World adventure, please let us know. We love to help fellow Disney-loving families.
