We are heading to Walt Disney World in July and are setting up our Fast Passes this weekend. My question is I’m 6 feet tall and weigh 370 lbs, what rides will I be limited to riding so we can get this magical adventure underway?

    Hi, William!

Everyone's experiences may be different. There are some attractions that I think are less Pooh friendly, but it's more about how the weight and height are distributed. You are about the same size as my husband, so I'll give you my tips based on what we've learned about him on certain attractions.

Most Walt Disney World attractions are fine for all size guests. Some have a pull back bar, that allows you to adjust to your comfort level. Others require no bar at all, but instead have a bench seat. You can tell them you are a party of one if you need extra space.

Two attractions that I know give my husband trouble are Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Avatar Flight of Passage. With Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it's all about his knees. He's 6'2" tall, with long legs. He couldn't figure out a way to sit comfortably in the ride vehicle so that the security bar could be properly closed. In some attractions, he could have positioned himself in the middle of the seat, but the ride vehicle here has two individual seats and lap bars.

On Avatar Flight of Passage, the vehicle is similar to a motor cycle seat. You straddle the seat, and then a lumbar support comes up to lock into place. The problem many Pooh sized people have here is that there are also supports that come up behind your knee area. If you have longer legs or thicker calves, it's going to be very tough for the supports to lock. There is a test seat outside the attraction that you can try before riding.

    Have an amazing time, William!
