    Emma from Derbyshire Asked

I am heading to Walt Disney in September and wanted to ask about the Halloween party. If you do not have a Halloween ticket do you have to leave the park before the party starts? If you do how does that work if you have rides booked and dinner reservation?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emma! Thanks for bringing us such a great question.

Emma, I’m delighted to learn you will be enjoying your most magical vacation soon! I bet your excitement levels are rising as your countdown gets shorter. I hope this visit is an unforgettable one filled with loads of magic and pixie dust!

Visiting the most magical place on earth during the fall months is one of my favorite times of the year to go. With the spook-tacular special events and tasty festivals happening these months, it’s a great time to be there!

Emma, on evenings when Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled, Magic Kingdon's regular park hours do close early in preparation for the event. When you are planning those days on your My Disney Experience account, the system will recognize those dates and only allow you to make your FastPass+ reservations and Advanced Dining Reservations available to guests that are not planning on attending the party and don’t have that special ticket linked to their account. It’s a good idea to know which days the party is scheduled for so you can plan accordingly. But I wouldn’t worry about accidentally booking something that you won’t be able to attend because that is unlikely.

I hope you have a magical time during your visit! Be sure to schedule in some time to attend the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. This festival is included with your park entry and is a must-do! You won’t want to miss all the exciting and delicious flavors from around the world plus all the added festival fun happening during your visit.

    See you real soon,

    Emille °o°
