We are heading to Orlando during Easter week 4/8/09-4/15/09. We have two girls10 and 12 years old. Are there any special events that we should be aware of? First time for both. Any suggestions would be most appreciated!!! Thanks

Hi Kara!  The 2009 information has not been published as of today.  You can keep checking back for any updates.  I can tell you a little about some of the events from 2008.

Mr.and Mrs. Easter Bunny will often appear daily for character meet and greets at the Magic Kingdom.  Times and places will vary and you can check at Guest Services.  They will also appear in certain parades in the days surrounding Easter Sunday.

Many of the resorts will also have special activities for their registered guests so be sure and ask when checking in if your resort has anything planned.

Protestant and Catholic church services are also available.  In the past they have been held at the Contemporary resort.  Guests must take the busses or monorails to reach the Contemporary.

Again please check back to see what 2009 events might be planned! Happy Easter!
