Heading to MK with a 3 yr old and 14 mo old on October 16&17. What is the best plan if action for the park? Love the princesses and fairies.

    Hi Jennifer,

I would suggest that you get to the Magic Kingdom as early as you can - even 30 minutes before the park is scheduled to open. You will be amazed how much you can get done early in the day at the park, because the lines are shorter. Since your children are excited about princesses and fairies, when you first arrive, grab a FASTPASS to meet the Princesses at Town Square Theater. You might be tempted to see them right away because the line will be short, but if you can, resist that temptation. I suggest that you head back to some attractions that will build lines quickly so that you can experience them with less of a wait!

Head back into Fantasyland and see Enchanted Tales with Belle. This interactive storytelling experience allows many guests to become a part of the retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story. Also, head to Under the Sea - Voyage of the Little Mermaid, where you can ride through Ariel's adventures. Then, you can walk over to Ariel's Grotto to meet Ariel. As you are exploring Fantasyland, be sure to keep an eye on your FASTPASS time to head back to see the princesses in your return window. Once you meet the princesses at Town Square Theater, you can also head to Tinker Bell's Magical Nook in Adventureland to meet Tinker Bell and her Fairy Friends.

If your children still nap, I suggest heading back to your resort by early afternoon to let them have that down time. We always found that doing this when our daughter was young made for a much more enjoyable day for everyone. Also, when you are in the theme parks, take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. These wonderful centers allow a quiet and air conditioned space for you to feed and change your children, or just for them to have a break.

Have a great time planning your trip, Jennifer, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
