Heading there in March, 2016 - Mom & Dad plus 3 teenage kids (16, 16, 18). In buying tickets, we're trying to figure out how many days to spend at the parks and which ones, as the older kids might be more picky about which rides and attractions

    Hi Dan,

Welcome to the Moms Panel and thanks for bringing your question to us.  I think it's wonderful that your teens still like to vacation with Mom and Dad.  I remember those teen years and while they were challenging at best, we always were able to come together and enjoy our trips to the Walt Disney World Resort.  Disney has a wonderful guide for planning a trip with teens and it will give you an idea on what rides and attractions your kids may like.  Your best bet is to purchase at least a three or four day park hopper, so that you can visit all of the theme parks at least once and choose your favorites.  After that, with the park hopper passes, you can experience all of your number one attractions again and again.  When my daughter was a teen, all she wanted to do was ride Twilight Zone Tower and Terror over and over again and that's exactly what she did.  Your children may have a similar experience, so it's best to be prepared with those park hoppers.

Let us know if we can do anything else to make your trip a magical one.

Meet the Panelist: Leanne, Missouri

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
