Hi- we are heading to the Magic Kingdom for the first time with our 3 littles! I'm a little confused on how the fast pass works? We are not staying at a Disney resort, so do I have to wait till I get to the park before I pick time slots? Thanks.

Greetings from a fellow Illinoisan, Tracie!

Your family will soon embark on a magical vacation. I can't wait for you to experience Walt Disney World with your li'l Mouseketeers! Yes, included in your theme park admission, you can reserve up to three attractions that day in order to experience little to no wait time or a preferred viewing area for select entertainment. It's essentially like a "held place in line." Fastpass+ kiosks are located throughout the park. Although Fastpass+ is still technically in testing phase and is subject to change at any time, I recently listed the current kiosk locations on a recent answer HERE. Upon arrival, I'd suggest picking up a park map which will also notate the FastPass+ kiosk locations.

I hope this helps, Tracie, and I'm happy to answer any follow up questions you might have about your upcoming trip.

    Best wishes,
