    Laurie from MI Asked

Heading to Disneyland in 2 weeks. So excited. Hoping 4 adults can get a lot of rides in with the max pass because we only have one day. We always go to WDW and have more time. Do you have to stand for Fantasmic? TIA

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Laurie!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip is right around the corner! While I know you would prefer more time at the Happiest Place on Earth, I am confident that with some tips, you can experience a great deal between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in your one-day visit. Definitely arrive to the parks as early as possible as you can experience many attractions in the early morning hours when crowds are lowest. As soon as you enter the park, make sure your park tickets are linked to the Disneyland app so you can purchase Disney MaxPass if you haven't already done so. I can assure you that with efficient use of Disney MaxPass, your party will get to experience many attractions. You can start making your first Disney FASTPASS selections from the app as soon as you enter. The sooner the FASTPASS return time, the sooner you can start making your next selection. For FASTPASS times returning later in the day, you will have to wait up to 90 minutes before making your next selection. My number one piece of advice when using Disney MaxPass is to set an alarm for when the app tells you that you can make your next FASTPASS selection. I have found that when I am busy in the parks, it's hard to keep track of time, and this has really helped me make the most out of my MaxPass purchase.

When it comes to viewing the nighttime spectacular Fantasmic!, this show is standing room only unlike viewing it at Walt Disney World Resort where there is stadium seating. You can grab a FASTPASS for the standing room only viewing areas for this show early in the day in person in Frontierland. (This will be independent of your MaxPass selections.)

I hope this helps, and have a magical vacation!
