We are heading to Disney World in early January (2 adults + 3 kids). We have booked our flights, now need to book Disney hotel and tickets (meal pass too). Is it better to book through this site or a travel agent?

    Hi Nicole.

Early January is a great time of year to visit Walt Disney World.
Now that you've purchased your airfare, you'll definitely want to secure the Disney Resort hotel of your choice, and choose the Magic Your Way Vacation Package that best suits your family's needs!

Personally, I find that I always get the best overall value and flexibility by purchasing these components directly through Walt Disney World's website. Be sure to check the Special Offers section of the website as there are currently some great promotions available for early January arrivals! Only a $200 deposit is required to secure your hotel and resort, with the balance due 45 days prior to arrival. You can make your payments online as you wish, from the time you book until the final payment is due.

To get you started out, visit the Vacation Package Guide. This will help you to establish some of your family's preferences and provide you with some recommendations. Prior to the start of your incredible vacation, if you should decide that you'd like to upgrade your park tickets, change your dining plan or even switch resort hotels, you'll be able to make those changes with one simple phone call to a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-7675.

If you'd like personal assistance choosing your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or other components of your vacation, please feel free to write me back and I'd be happy to assist!

Wishing you a Magical time as you plan your family's Walt Disney World vacation Nicole!

I hope to hear from you again soon!
