Heading for Disney World Dec. 1-5. First time going for Christmas decorations. We would like to see the decorations at as many of the resorts as possible. Are the decorations mainly on the inside of the resorts, or is the outside decorated as well?

Most of the holiday decorations at the resorts are indoors. There may be a bit of garland or evergreen swag adorning the outdoor areas of the hotels, but the impressive and unique Disney decorations are focused inside.

Some of my favorite resorts during the holidays are:

    - Grand Floridian. Giant gingerbread house!

    - Beach Club. Carousel made of gingerbread

    - Wilderness Lodge. HUGE tree.

    - Animal Kingdom Lodge. Wonderfully themed ornaments.

    - Fort Wilderness. The regular campers put out their own special Disney decorations.

    Have fun exploring.
