We are heading to Disney in October and just made our dining reservations. However, our plane comes in at 7:15am, and our first reservation is at 10:10 at Be Our Guest. Do you think using the Magic Express, we will be able to make that reservation easily?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kate!

If I understand your question, your flight is scheduled to land at Orlando International Airport at 7:15 am. I have often taxied to the gate for up to 20 minutes, so let’s say that you end up disembarking closer to 7:35 am. At this point, you may have to collect your luggage if you haven’t used the yellow Disney’s Magical Express Luggage tags, which can add an extra 20 minutes or so. This brings us close to 8 am. Add another 15 minutes waiting for your express motorcoach to depart and then a 45-minute ride to your Disney Resort hotel, we near 9 am and you still haven’t checked in. I would say this is cutting it too close for my personal preference! If you decide to take Disney’s Magical Express to your Disney Resort hotel, you may want to take an Uber or taxi to Magic Kingdom Park unless you happen to be staying at one of the Monorail Resorts. Entering Magic Kingdom Park at the beginning of the day can also take up to 20 minutes at times if it is very busy! If I were you, I would use my yellow luggage tags so that my bags arrive at my Disney Resort hotel without having to wait for them at baggage claim, then I would get a private transfer, or rent a car and drive directly to Magic Kingdom Park and save check-in for afterward. There are locker rentals at the Theme Park entrance and you would have to ensure that you have everything you need with you on your carry-on luggage.

Again, you MAY make it on time, but I would review the cancellation policies before making your decision. Have a great time at Be Our Guest Restaurant!
