Heading to Disney next month with a 1 year old and have a few questions. What stroller should I bring? My umbrella does not recline so I am thinking about the BOB or Chicco. Is a food plan worth it at this age? Did anyone bring a pack n play cover?

Hi Adrienne! With a child so young you will want to make sure you have a comfortable stroller that will work for you during your vacation.

My daughter brought her stroller with the car seat insert so she could pull that out and take it inside when dining in the Disney restaurants. Most will not allow you to bring any strollers inside as they simply don't have room and they become a safety and fire hazard. With the car seat she could pull that out and not worry if her son was sleeping. They will turn the high chairs over so you can set them on that or they will have the slings to rest it in.

You need to consider what stroller you have that will easily fold up as you are not able to get onto a bus unless your strollers are completely folded. The drivers are very strict and they have to be as this is a Florida law. I have seen many angry parents who have used the stroller as a catch all and then had to literally unpack. Their anger was thrown to the poor driver who is only doing his job. Keep things to a minimum of what you must take into the parks. If you forget something each park has a baby center where you can purchase what you might need.

If you don't have a stroller that you think would work then check out one of the local companies who will deliver and pick up to your resort. Many guests find renting easier then bringing their own and just have an umbrella one for the airports.

Dining plans are only eligibly for children over three.

We always brought our own pack and play sheets. They often just fold a normal sheet to fit a pack and play and we found we liked a fitted one.
