We are heading to Disney next month. Magic Kingdom has evening magic hours during our stay. Will princess meet and greets be open at those times, or will it just be rides? I'm trying to have a loose plan for the day. Thank you!

    Hi Dinorah,

Your Walt Disney World vacation is just days away now! You must be getting so excited.

Extra Magic Hours are one of the terrific benefits of staying in a Walt Disney World resort. Whether it's early morning or late evening, that bonus time in the theme parks is always magical. Usually, character greetings are not extended into Extra Magic Hours. The benefit primarily covers rides and attractions.

You can find the list of rides and attractions that normally participate in Extra Magic Hours here. Please note that this list may change without notice.

If meeting Cinderella and Elena, Tiana and Rapunzel, Ariel or other Disney princesses at Magic Kingdom is a top priority for you and your family, I'd suggest booking those meet and greets earlier in the day using the three FastPass+ reservations that can be booked in advance. Once you've used all three of those FastPasses, you can add one at a time through the day, based on availability, for other attractions. Add the FastPasses using the My Disney Experience app on your phone or at a kiosk in the park.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dinorah. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions. Enjoy every minute of your time with your family!
