I will be heading to Disney with my kids in November. I have a 6 day 5 night trip planned. I have a full package including meal and snacks. Can you give me an idea of how much money should I bring? Will I need more food for us and is there any extra cost?

    Hi LaDonna,

Your vacation is just a month away. How exciting! So let's get ready for it and finalize any last minute planning.

The Disney Dining Plans are excellent since allows you to leave behind your worries about planning meal budgets. For my family, the Disney Dining Plan is the best option for us, which includes on Table-Service meal, one Quick-Service meal and one Snack, per night, per person. We typically eat a light breakfast, so we use our Snacks and get pastries. And even then, at the end of our vacation, we never run out of meals.

So do you need any extra cash? You should be aware that alcoholic drinks and gratuities are not included, so you should plan accordingly. We always tip the Disney's Magical Express driver and Bell Services, when we use their services. And of course, there’s always a gift or souvenir that we have to have. And don't forget about luggage fees for your return flight!

One last tip: one great way to bring all your memories back home is with Memory Maker. You will get to download all photos and videos taken by the Disney PhotoPass Service photographers. And if you purchase it at least 3 days before your arrival, you will be able to save some Disney Dollars. See you real soon!
