We are heading to Disney in December for my son's birthday. He as egg, peanut, and milk allergies. The restaurants are great at accommodating him, but I was wondering about a cake. Will Chef Mickey's be able to make an allergy free cake if I call ahead?

    Hi Tracie:

Disney restaurants (except Victoria and Alberts) carry a Celebrate Today cake in chocolate or vanilla that can serve up to five.  Although subject to change, this cake costs about $21, plus tax and any gratuity.  Simply order the cake when you check in at the restaurant front podium.  While I understand the cake is "allergen-free," I would call the cake hotline in advance at 407-827-2253 to confirm ingredients or to order a customized cake.  Prices will vary depending on size and customization.   Another alternative is to call Baby Cakes NYC at Downtown Disney at 407-938-9044.  I understand they do not use eggs, peanuts, or milk in their cakes and they can deliver to Chef Mickeys.

    Enjoy your vacation.
